The Second Show Ever is the 2nd episode in the series The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police.

Sam and Max take a class of children on one of their cases as a career day demonstration.
[edit] In-Depth Synopsis
Drawn by the sound of fine steel being drawn by Mr Yushi, Sam & Max walk in on a career day demonstration. Since the children are so enthusiastic, they do a puppet show about their work. The Commissioner then calls, and they decide to take them with them on their newest case.
As it turns out, that involves taking the Desoto into outer space to confront Lactose the Intolerant. Lactose intends to destroy the Earth, and is actually even more set on that after Sam & Max show him their take on the best humankind has to offer. After he loses the thumb-wrestling match that's supposed to decide the fate of mankind, Lactose lashes out and uses his laser eye-beams to attack the Desoto and Sam and Max. Nevertheless they manage to defeat him after that, using what is later revealed as "a couple of well-placed snips to curb that aggressive streak".
At the end Sam & Max get a new kind of lunch special made in their honor and it turns out that Lactose now works at the school cafeteria, using his eye beams to reheat food.
