Stuckey's

Stuckey's is a chain of roadside convenience stores across America. It has featured in some form in several (two) Sam & Max stories.

Appearances

In On the Road, the duo pass a Stuckey's, making Max all excited. It also appears in the official On the Road board game insert, making you lose a turn to stop there. In Sam & Max Hit the Road a roadside attraction named "Snuckey's" is featured. It is obviously based on Stuckey's, even including its famed pecan candy and unusually clean restrooms. Sam & Max need to visit for those and other reasons.

The Stuckey's Corporation has interviewed Steve Purcell for its corporate newsletter as the first part of a series on Stuckey's appearances in popular culture.
