[edit] Remarks
- The bar Sam and Max visit is Munden's Bar, which is located in an pan-dimensional city in the Grimjack universe. Fair Wind to Java was part of a back-up feature focusing on the bar and its wildly different visitors from many dimensions.
- Whereas Monkeys Violating the Heavenly Temple was "Drawn without reference material, apparently.", Fair Wind to Java was "Sensitively rendered only after painstaking research, no doubt.".
- The comic parodies one of the central ideas of Chariots of the Gods?, which was referenced later by Chariots of the Dogs.
